To see the saved living like Jesus.
VALUES
Family. We gather as a family. We pray as a family. We eat together as a family. We love as a family because we are one family under God's household.
Trust. We trust God with the future. We trust our family to live like Jesus more everyday. We put our trust in Christ alone and apply our trust through our relationships with each other.
Stewardship. Everything we have is because God gave first. We steward our time, finances, and lives well to honor God in all that we do.
Growth. We put our trust in Christ, deny ourselves, and follow up every day. We place our discipleship above our desires. We practice discipleship so that we grow in Christ-likeness.
STATEMENT OF FAITH
We at First Christian Church (FCC) agree that the following summary represents the core beliefs of the Christian faith according to Scripture and identifies who we are as a church. This statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind. Therefore, it is the sole and final source of all that we believe. Our board of elders is the final interpretive authority on the Bible’s meaning and application for FCC's faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline.
DISCIPLESHIP PATHWAYS
We know living like Jesus can be difficult if you're not sure where to start. Or maybe you've been trusting and following Jesus for a while but feel distant from him in life right now. Whatever the case, we have designed these pathways to help you as you trust and follow Jesus and train to be like him. These discipleship pathways help us live with Jesus and live like him.
