Our COVID Response

While we live in faith and not in fear as the family of God, we also want to be responsible and considerate of the pandemic circumstances and of each other. Because of this, you can expect a few things to be different as you enter the building and participate in our services with us…

  • 2 Sunday morning services only (8:30 and 10:45 am…no Sunday PM activities)

  • Sunday School classes in larger rooms that allow for social distancing.

  • Nursery and children’s programming during second service.

  • A baby changing area in the “Prayer Room”

  • Communion offered at stations around the auditorium

  • Offering collected at the door as you exit

  • A waving “Meet and Greet” time

  • Main Front Doors open only

  • No South entry (by kitchen/chapel) for cleaning purposes

  • Doors to the building and auditorium remaining open as you enter (weather permitting)

  • No bulletins for the time being

  • An abbreviated service (similar to the online experience)

  • Continued online service on Facebook and YouTube for those who choose not to attend or are at high risk

  • Seating on every other pew to allow for social distancing

  • We will be switching the open pews in between services so that attendees are not sitting on the same rows in consecutive services.

We do ask that as you come to services that you be considerate of others, no matter what view of the pandemic they may have. In other words, respect social distance, be especially aware of those wearing masks or those at a higher risk, and yield to others before you hug or shake hands (even asking before you assume).

Again, we are happy to be together again in person, and understand your need to make the decision that is best for your family right now. Thank you for your patience, trust, and understanding.

Keep “being the light!”
